WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE PURSE!
Sometimes somethings just stop you in your tracks. Well, this morning this has certainly had all the girls at Mechu H&Q a flutter.
Last week, the world's most expensive purse went on sale ... the price tag? A whopping £2.4 million.
Yet to be sold, the heart-shaped bag is encrusted with more than 4,517 diamonds – 105 yellow, 56 pink and 4,356 colourless, all adding up to en eye-watering 381.92 carats.
Created by Dubai-based designer Mouawad and handcrafted from 18 carat gold, it took ten artisans working 1,100 hours over four months to create such a beauty.
Wonder if we all pooled our wages together we could put in an offer!

COCKTAILS: SHAKEN NOT STIRRED ...
Whether you're inspired by James Bond or the Sex & The City gals, cocktails have long been renowned as the most stylish drinks at the bar.
From Martinis and Bellinis to Cosmpolitans and Black Russians, there's a mix to suit any taste and mood. Believed to have been enjoyed for more than 150 years, the first known cocktail recipe can be traced back to 1862 and consisted four parts sweet red vermouth to one part gin, garnished with a cherry. Sounds good!
At Mechu, we offer an impressive selection of fabulous cocktails, starting at £7.95 - check out our comprehensive menu at the bar to see what tickles your fancy. There's also range of "driver's tipples", non-alcoholic versions of a Hurricane and Mojito for just £2.50.
We've even got our own cocktail - the delicious Mechu Lemon Drop - created by our mixologists Adin Memetovic and Kieran Tronson. Or for that extra special treat, why not indulge in a Kir Royale, Valencia Royale or Champagne Cocktail.
Bottoms up!

OSCARS 2011: TOP OF THE FROCKS!
It's the longest red carpet in the world and so not surprisingly it's the highlight of the A-list fashion calendar. And for the 2011 Oscars ceremony, those leading ladies didn't let us down.
Our favourites? We love Gwyneth Paltrow in shimmering metallics from Calvin Klein, Reece Witherspoon in on-trend monochrome from Armani Privé, and a fabulous looking Sharon Stone, who opted for a slinky black number with feature detailing.
Biggest trend spot was nudes, rivalling red and black as the colour de jour. Below from left, Michelle Williams in Chanel, Mandy Moore in a Monique Lhuillier gown, and Halle Berry in bespoke Marchesa.

JEN'S NEW 'DO STEALS THE LIMELIGHT
We have to say we're loving the new, sexy bob. But let's face it, Jen's so gorgeous even a number two would look amazing. It's edgy and current, and, teamed with the sexy black vest, certainly ensured she stole the show at launch of her new film Just Go With It.
Only the day before, she was papped with her iconic flowing locks (or "the Rachel" as it is know to every hairdresser in the land)!
There are some suggestions that the new 'do was unveiled to upstage her young co-star 23-year-old Brooklyn Decker. Well, judging by the amount of coverage today, Jen - looking fabulous for 42 - has certainly managed that!

CHOOS VS LOUBOUTINS ... WHO WINS!
Jimmy Choo fans: Gwyneth Paltrow, Demi Moore, Diane Kruger and Michelle Obama.
In the blue corner ... we have the red-soled beauties that have stolen the hearts of the A-list. And in the red corner, it's the style classics whose very name is guaranteed to bring the fashion pack out in a cold sweat.
But who really wins in a knock-out between Christian Louboutins and Jimmy Choos? Yes, this is the very question we've been pondering at Mechu HQ (that, along with chaos, homotopy and Necanlinna theories, of course!).
We can assure you there was much heated debate - some felt the Choos edged it with their disco diva bling while others fought passioniately for the sexy shapes of a Louboutin.
In the end, we all shook hands and decided we'd be happy to own a pair from either label (but deep down we all knew the Louboutins were the winner!)
Louboutin lovers: Victoria Beckham, Cheryl Cole and Jennifer Lopez.
